Also known as The Gentleman's Blob ( as this fly is increasingly being called by Martin's friends!)
This is a hugely versatile fly which has scored well on stillwaters from Midlands reservoirs to Scottish lochs - over the entire season. With hints of Soldier Palmer meets Blob and Dabbler it combines their attractiveness without looking too alarming to resident fish, just a good meaty mouthful. Naturally suited to the top dropper position it's caught a lot of fish for me and might for you too!
