If we could only take one pattern out then this would be it, making this our 'default' pattern when bass fishing. It has accounted for many hundreds of bass up to 6lbs (from the beach), around the coast of the UK, plus pollack, mackerel, garfish etc.. The slightly 'washed out' chartreuse colour is entirely intentional - the fly just seems to work better that way!
